A collection of oil paintings and sculptures portraying the human figure submerged in and under water. My inspiration for these underwater scenes comes from my fascination with the way the human figure is transformed while underwater. The distorted shape, as well as vibrant colors and rays of sun, cause one to view the figure in a completely different way. This collection is from my senior thesis at Xavier University in 2014.
